Our family business has been in Lake Placid for over 40 years, and we guarantee your satisfaction, 100%. My name is Bonnie Knox. My husband Mike and I started Fancy Plants Farms in 1974. Our daughter Karen began working with us about 15 years ago. When Mike passed away in 2018, Karen’s husband Doug stepped in to help run the technical stuff Mike used to do. I have semi-retired to be the letter writer and bookkeeper. Doug’s sister in law, Lily helps with packing, shipping and answering phones. My grandsons also enjoy helping in the barn! As I said, we are a family business, which is why we can offer you personalized service.
